HIVELAB (CEO: Seo Jonghyuk), a specialist in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation (DX), announced on the 11th that it had signed a strategic business alliance with Japanese mobile game developer CommSeed Corporation (CEO: Kenji Tsukahara).

This partnership is a strategic cooperation aimed at applying HIVELAB's self-developed AI image generation solution 'Aviko' to the Japanese game production process to maximize production efficiency, while also creating new business opportunities for AI solutions in the Japanese market.

In the game industry, the ability to quickly and massively produce high-quality content is emerging as a key competitiveness. However, existing production methods have structural limitations, relying heavily on creator manpower, resulting in longer production cycles and increased costs. To address this, the two companies will introduce Aviko's AI image generation technology not only for in-game elements such as characters, backgrounds, and items, but also for overall promotional creatives.

HIVELAB aims to reorganize the production structure so standardized that AI takes charge of repetitive and tasks, while creators can focus on creative and high value-added areas, with the goal of reducing production costs by about 50% and shortening development cycles. Through this, both the completeness and enjoyment of games are expected to improve.

CommSeed, established in 1991, is a listed Japanese game company that has released popular titles such as the slot game 'グリパチ (Guripachi)', which has more than 7 million users, as well as '不思議の森のパン工房 (Mysterious Forest Bakery)' and 'I LOVE バーガー(I LOVE Burger)'. Recently, the company has also been focusing on next-generation content development such as blockchain-based games and real-world linked virtual hall simulators.

HIVELAB CEO Seo Jonghyuk said, “This partnership goes beyond simple cost reduction, serving as an opportunity to provide high-quality creatives quickly through AI innovation in the game production process,” and added, “Going forward, we will expand global AI partnerships centered on our branches in Japan and Southeast Asia, while continuing to advance our proprietary solution 'Aviko'.”
